A very rare find indeed. This is a very old vintage leather Doctor's Bag or small suitcase circa from the late 1800's. It has been around for many many years and has some time worn wear and tear. The lock and clasps all work but the buckles and straps on the top are brittle and detached. (the brass buckles and strap pieces are all present in the bag) Leather is on all sides.
The inside of the bag is a natural suede skin and has some age issues as well. This is a jewel of a find and exceedingly rare. It would be so wonderful atop a cabinet or armoire. I love stacking stacking vintage suitcases for decorations that are visual reminders of a bygone era indeed.
