A rare find indeed! This is an original French Antique Bee Skep with mud plaster. This skep is in fabulous condition and has been very well cared for throughout the years. This is a very hard to find item and is still in an actual working state.
These bee skeps were used throughout the gardens of Europe to encourage the tiny bee pollinators to take up a permanent residence in the gardens.
