Reserved for Carrie ~ Vintage Leather Chess Board with Playing Pieces
This is a fabulous vintage Maitland Smith leather chess board. The board is hand stitched with inlaid leather and embossed gold leaf detailing and has two drawers for the chess pieces.
The pieces are hand carved in wood and each drawer is lined in bookbinding papers with a metal locking turn knob.
The leather board box is covered in leather on all sides with the bottom being a solid color without the squares.
This board is in excellent condition but does have time worn small scuffs adding to it's vintage character.
A one of a kind find.
